A fireplug of a man, Orion is short but built strong and sturdy from years of daring feats as a treasure hunter and adventurer. Hair kept short and slicked back with sides shaved, it frames his aetherially gilded eyes, strong nose, and the plush lips flanked by a well-kept beard. In addition, the eyebrow above his right eye is torn at the end, but he bears no scar there.

The most memorable feature of his is likely the fiery, glowing tattoo that's entwined itself around his muscular right forearm and bicep, resembling a feathery bird whose wing covers a pectoral slab and head bites at his thick neck.

Personality

"Fire, courage, and ambition"

The igniting spark of a flame and the adrenaline of adventure—Orion is defined by his lust for life and his bravery into the unknown. Abhorring a boring life, he thrusts himself into dangers and thrills in pursuit of a life fulfilled and to uncover the world's mysteries. Regardless of where he's at or what he's doing, he's incorrigibly flirtatious and happy to rent a room or find the nearest alley...

The other side of that gilded coin reveals a deep selfishness he's only just begun to undo. He's avaricious, reckless, vainglorious, and thinks far more of himself than others. But y'know, he's working on it!

Roleplay Preferences

I'm pretty open to most RP out there (dark/mature themes included), but my absolute favorite tends to be adventure-style roleplay. You know: epic fights, puzzle-solving, drama, dragon-slaying, etc. The only kind of RP I tend to shy away from are performance-based and anything that would be considered illegal IRL. When it comes to dark/mature themes, I'd also prefer to discuss the specifics of it beforehand as there are a couple things here and there that I'd rather not roleplay.I'm pretty cool with pre-established connections (be they estranged relatives, colleagues, friends, rivals, past flames, etc), so if you're interested in something like that, let's get talking!I'm equally fond of both in-game RP and Discord RP. However, I work a full-time 9-5 job, so I'm typically only ever available for RP evenings and weekends PT.

Potential Hooks

WILD MAGIC CHASER - No longer a treasure hunter, Orion has shifted careers to investigate the weird and wild. If there is wild magic running amok or myths and legends to investigate or any other kind of strange, arcane phenomena, he's your guy to look into it.

EX-TREASURE HUNTER - Despite not being a treasure hunter anymore, he still keeps a couple fingers in that world. He maintains his contacts and is now and then drawn into closing out old jobs or helping others accomplish theirs. He also still maintains several artifacts himself... If your character is in need of help finding something old and/or magical, they may come across Orion’s name and contact info.

MAGIC - The Seeker studies magic and is always looking to learn more, often visiting old repositories of knowledge (Gubal, for example) in search of magics new to him. So if your character does the same, it’d be very easy to have Orion bump into them.

WORLD TRAVEL - So Orion hates staying in one place for too long and is wont to just pack some things and go traveling for weeks at a time. Pairing that with his outgoing nature makes it easy for him to introduce himself to new people he comes across, so that opens up many options for him to interact with others.
